Pool tile cleaning · Friendswood, TX Friendswood tile, clean again.
Friendswood buys treated water from Houston and backs it up with its own deep wells, so the water in your pool is a blend that still leaves scale behind.
The water in Friendswood
Why Friendswood tile scales up
The City of Friendswood's water quality report says the city buys treated surface water from Houston and also maintains its own Gulf Coast Aquifer wells, each at least 600 feet deep.
Even mostly-surface water carries dissolved calcium, and in a pool it concentrates with every inch that evaporates. Over a few summers that turns into the white band you see on the tile.

What we see locally
Pools around Friendswood
Friendswood has many established neighborhoods with mature trees and pools that have been in use for years, along with newer sections like West Ranch. Older tile and grout get a test spot before we start.
Being close to Clear Creek and the bay side of the metro means humid, stormy summers. If thunder or lightning is in the forecast, we reschedule rather than work through it.
How it works
Cleaning day
On cleaning day the team lowers the water 6 to 12 inches below the tile line (the pool is never drained), removes the calcium with bead or media blasting matched to your tile, and vacuums the media out with our own pumps. Most pools take 2 to 4 hours. Quotes come from your photos and a phone call, and the price we quote is the price you pay.
Neighborhoods we serve include West Ranch, Wedgewood Village, Forest Bend, Polly Ranch, Sunmeadow and Windsong.

Questions
Good to know
Friendswood water comes from Houston. Is it still hard enough to cause scale?
Yes. Any tap water carries some calcium, and evaporation concentrates it at the waterline. Topping off over several summers builds a visible line.
What's included in the cleaning?
The waterline tile on the pool and spa, unless your quote says otherwise. Raised walls, spillways, waterfalls and stone in the water can be added.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice so we can keep the schedule moving.
