Pool tile cleaning · Fulshear, TX Fulshear's newer pools, kept sharp.
Fulshear has grown fast, and many of its pools are only a few years old. That's the best time to deal with calcium, before it turns into thick scale.
The water in Fulshear
Why Fulshear tile scales up
Fulshear's water has been mainly groundwater, with city wells drawing from the Chicot aquifer while surface water connections through a regional authority are planned. Like the rest of Fort Bend County, it's working to reduce groundwater pumping, but in the meantime the water filling local pools is mostly well water.
On a newer pool, the first white line is usually light, chalky calcium carbonate. It's easier to remove now than after several summers, when it can harden into tougher scale.

What we see locally
Pools around Fulshear
Communities like Cross Creek Ranch, Jordan Ranch and Fulshear Run are full of pools built in the last decade, many with glass or porcelain waterline tile. A first cleaning on a pool like that is often quick.
If your builder is still finishing plaster or you've just had a replaster, media blasting has to happen before the new plaster or at least a month after it.
How it works
Cleaning day
On cleaning day the team lowers the water 6 to 12 inches below the tile line (the pool is never drained), removes the calcium with bead or media blasting matched to your tile, and vacuums the media out with our own pumps. Most pools take 2 to 4 hours. Quotes come from your photos and a phone call, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

Questions
Good to know
My Fulshear pool is only three years old. Does it already need tile cleaning?
If you can see a white line, yes. Light buildup on a newer pool is usually quicker to remove than scale that's been there for years.
How do I keep the calcium from coming back on a new pool?
Keep your chemicals balanced, keep the water level steady, and brush the waterline weekly with a soft nylon brush. Skip wire brushes, pumice and acid tile cleaners.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, 12 months. If we missed any calcium, we come back and clean it. New buildup isn't covered.
